Position Summary

Our overnight team keeps production moving while the rest of the building is quiet, and we are adding four Pharmacy Compounding Technicians to third shift. Working with a small, self-directed crew and a pharmacist on duty, you will run the scheduled batch list, document as you go, and reset the suite so first shift begins the day on a cleared and stocked line. Overnight work rewards technicians who are independent, precise, and comfortable owning a checklist end to end with limited support around them.

Key Responsabilities

Execute the assigned overnight batch schedule, compounding each preparation exactly to its approved master formulation record.
Independently verify components, lots, expiration dates, and calculations before beginning a batch, and present completed work for pharmacist verification.
Complete the cleaning, disinfection, and environmental monitoring tasks assigned to the overnight rotation and log all results contemporaneously.
Reset and restock the compounding suite, staging materials and consumables so the incoming shift can begin production without delay.
Escalate deviations, equipment faults, and material shortages to the pharmacist on duty and document the event before the end of the shift.
Prepare accurate written hand-off notes covering in-progress work, open issues, and priority orders for the incoming supervisor.
Complete assigned competency testing and annual requalification on schedule.

Qualifications

Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, or eligible to register prior to the start date.
PTCB certification (CPhT) required or actively in progress; CSPT credential preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; one year of pharmacy, laboratory, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow written procedures without direct oversight, and judge when to escalate.
Prior overnight or rotating shift experience preferred.
Offer contingent on background screening and pre-employment drug testing.

Schedule, Physical and Working Conditions

Overnight schedule; scheduled start and end times confirmed at offer.
Shift differential eligibility to be confirmed at offer. *
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive fine-motor tasks.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment for the duration of a production run.
