Position Summary

Casa Pharma RX is adding two IV Pharmacy Technicians to second shift, working inside the cleanroom to prepare sterile injectable preparations under pharmacist supervision. Aseptic technique is the whole job: you will gown, work the hood, compound to the batch record, and document each step so the preparation can be verified and released without question. Technicians with proven sterile experience — or the discipline to earn that qualification quickly — will do well on this team.

Key Responsabilities

Prepare sterile preparations within ISO-classified environments using validated aseptic technique.
Gown and perform hand hygiene in accordance with USP <797> and Casa Pharma RX Standard Operating Procedures before each entry into the classified area.
Compound to the approved master formulation record, verifying components, lots, and calculations before any manipulation.
Conduct in-process checks and present completed preparations for pharmacist verification with complete documentation attached.
Perform and document cleaning and disinfection of primary engineering controls and classified surfaces on the required schedule.
Support environmental monitoring activity, including surface and viable air sampling, as directed.
Complete gloved fingertip sampling, media-fill testing, and annual aseptic requalification on schedule.
Report any breach of aseptic technique, environmental excursion, or suspected contamination immediately.

Qualifications

Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, or eligible to register prior to the start date.
PTCB certification (CPhT) required; CSPT credential or documented sterile compounding training strongly preferred.
Minimum one year of sterile IV compounding experience preferred, in a hospital, infusion, 503A, or 503B setting.
Demonstrated aseptic technique competency, or ability to qualify during the onboarding period.
Working knowledge of USP <797> and, where applicable, USP <800>.
Ability to sustain concentration through repetitive, high-precision work across a full shift.

Schedule, Physical and Working Conditions

Second-shift schedule; scheduled start and end times confirmed at offer.
Shift differential eligibility to be confirmed at offer. *
Extended standing and fine-motor work inside primary engineering controls.
Full cleanroom gowning required; fragrance, cosmetics, artificial nails, and jewelry are not permitted in classified areas.
