Position Summary

We are hiring a Compounding Pharmacist on a fixed 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM schedule, bridging the evening production window and the overnight run. The role is hands-on: you will compound and verify patient-specific preparations, own the formulation and batch documentation for your window, and coach technicians through the technique that separates a compliant preparation from a rejected one. If you would rather be in the suite than behind a desk, this schedule is built for that.

Key Responsabilities

  • Compound and verify sterile and non-sterile patient-specific preparations in accordance with approved formulation records.
  • Assign and document beyond-use dating consistent with USP standards and internal stability references.
  • Review, approve, and maintain master formulation records and batch records for assigned preparations.
  • Conduct in-process and final checks, including visual inspection, weight and volume verification, and label accuracy review.
  • Train and evaluate technicians on aseptic technique, including observation of gloved fingertip sampling and media-fill testing.
  • Maintain component qualification records, certificates of analysis, and supplier documentation for materials used during the shift.
  • Hand off in-progress work, open deviations, and priority orders to the incoming overnight pharmacist in writing.

Qualifications

  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program.
  • Minimum two years of hands-on compounding experience preferred; 503A sterile compounding experience strongly preferred.
  • Documented aseptic technique competency, or ability to qualify during the onboarding period.
  • Detailed working knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> and applicable Texas pharmacy rules.
  • Willingness to commit to a fixed evening-to-overnight schedule.

Schedule, Physical and Working Conditions

  • Fixed schedule of 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM; scheduled days confirmed at offer.
  • Shift differential eligibility to be confirmed at offer. *
  • Extended periods of standing and fine-motor work inside primary engineering controls.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment for the duration of a compounding session.

Pharmacy Compounding Technician — Third Shift

      Pharmacy & Compounding Operations
      Type:
      Full-time
      Shift:
      Third shift - overnight
Our overnight team keeps production moving while the rest of the building is quiet, and we are adding four Pharmacy Compounding Technicians to third shift. Working with a small, self-directed crew and a pharmacist on duty, you will run the scheduled batch list, document as you go, and reset the suite so first shift begins the day on a cleared and stocked line. Overnight work rewards technicians who are independent, precise, and comfortable owning a checklist end to end with limited support around them.

      Full-time
      Shift:
      Third shift - overnight
Casa Pharma RX is seeking a Texas-licensed Staff Pharmacist to lead our overnight operation. As the pharmacist on duty, you are the final check on every preparation that leaves the suite before morning — verifying calculations, releasing batches, directing technicians, and making the compliance decisions that cannot wait until daylight. This is a role for a pharmacist who is confident with a lean team, fluent in sterile compounding regulations, and willing to own the shift rather than escalate it.

      Sterile Compounding
      Type:

      Shift:
      Second shift
Casa Pharma RX is adding two IV Pharmacy Technicians to second shift, working inside the cleanroom to prepare sterile injectable preparations under pharmacist supervision. Aseptic technique is the whole job: you will gown, work the hood, compound to the batch record, and document each step so the preparation can be verified and released without question. Technicians with proven sterile experience — or the discipline to earn that qualification quickly — will do well on this team.
